v1.10.0 ·

Bulk patient intake invitations, smarter assistant workflows, and expanded chart management

Send e-Intake invitations to large patient groups, use voice during patient onboarding, approve multi-step assistant plans, merge duplicate patient records, and manage encounters and order sets with new clinical workflows.

Send eIntake invitations to groups of patients

A new Administrative → Messaging area lets authorized staff send personalized eIntake invitations to selected patients or an eligible patient panel.

You can search by name, MRN, phone number, or email, filter the recipient list, and select all patients who are ready to receive an invitation. Patients who cannot be contacted are clearly identified, including those with missing email addresses, completed intake, communication opt-outs, or suppressed email addresses.

Before sending, you can:

  • Add an introductory message and optional subject
  • Preview the clinic-branded email
  • Review the number of recipients
  • Confirm which patients are eligible

Each patient receives an individual intake link. Patients who already created an account but have not finished intake receive a sign-in link so they can continue onboarding.

The Sent tab tracks campaign progress and individual outcomes, including delivered, bounced, skipped, complained, or failed messages.

Current scope: Bulk messaging is available for eIntake invitation emails only. SMS and general-purpose bulk email are not included.

image image image

Simpler provider registration

Provider registration is now email-first, with fewer fields required at signup.

Providers no longer need to enter an institution access code, NPI, legal name, or professional profile information just to submit a registration request.

Continue with Google is also available for provider sign-in, registration, and staff-invite acceptance on the web.

Joining a clinic still requires an invitation or an administrative grant, and provider approval and deactivation controls remain in place.

image

Approve a plan before the assistant works through complex tasks

For more complex requests, the clinical assistant can now propose an ordered plan before taking action.

You can review the proposed steps, approve the plan, or request changes. Once approved, a live checklist above the chat input shows progress as the assistant works through the task.

Approving the overall plan does not automatically approve later write actions. Any action that normally requires clinician review or confirmation still presents its own approval step.

Plans retain their progress and revisions, including across longer multi-step workflows.

Assistant responses also stream progressively as they are generated, reducing the wait for a complete response to appear all at once.

image

Merge duplicate patient records

Authorized users can now merge duplicate patient charts from either the patient list or the patient chart.

The merge workflow lets you:

  • Select which chart should remain
  • Compare conflicting demographic information
  • Choose which values to keep
  • Review identity warnings before proceeding

The surviving record consolidates eligible information across documents, encounters, billing, orders, conversations, and outreach history.

The merged-away record is retained as a traceable historical record, and authorized attempts to open its old chart redirect to the surviving patient.

Some merges are intentionally blocked when they cannot be completed safely—for example, when both records have activated patient portal accounts, when conflicting open encounters exist, or when the records belong to unsupported clinic configurations.

Patient merging has no one-click undo. Review the comparison carefully before confirming.

image

Better duplicate finding review in Manage Claims

The Manage Claims workflow now gives clinicians more control when reconciling duplicate clinical findings.

Duplicate groups include clearer explanations of why entries are considered related. You can choose:

  • Which finding to keep
  • Which duplicates should be merged
  • Whether the displayed claim name should be corrected

Approved merges preserve relevant evidence and links rather than simply discarding duplicate information.

Duplicate detection has also been improved during parallel document processing, reducing the chance that the same clinical concept becomes multiple chart entries.

Add and manage terminology codes from claim detail

Clinical findings can now be searched against available medical vocabularies directly from claim detail.

Use + Add code to search for and attach an appropriate code, including reactivating a code that was previously removed.

image

Expanded encounter management

The chart now includes an Encounters tab showing local visits with:

  • Attending clinician
  • Participants
  • Visit status
  • Linked documents

Linked notes and documents can be opened directly in the workspace.

image

New encounters require an eligible attending physician. Check-in and walk-in workflows now include an attending selector, and authorized staff can reassign the attending when needed.

Correct mistaken check-ins

Authorized staff can now Undo check-in / void encounter from the interface.

A reason is required, and the workflow handles the related appointment outcome so staff can correct situations such as:

  • Mistaken check-in
  • No-show
  • Documentation error or other supported correction

image

File notes under the appropriate encounter

When encounter management is enabled for the clinic, notes created through the editor, scribe, or assistant can be associated with the patient’s active visit.

The note header shows the linked encounter, and authorized users canattach, change, or removethe association. Finished encounters can also be selected when correcting or filing documentation retrospectively.

Existing encounter selections are preserved on later saves. If automatic encounter filing fails, the note itself can still be saved.

Build and manage reusable order sets

The ordering system now includes Administrative → Orders, where authorized users can manage clinic order sets and preferred orderables.

You can:

  • Create and edit order sets
  • Clone existing sets
  • Retire and reactivate sets
  • Choose clinic defaults
  • Reorder preferred items

Within the order composer,Save as order set ;ets you turn a reproducible group of orders into a reusable protocol. If part of the current cart cannot be safely reproduced, Serelora identifies the affected rows rather than silently creating an incomplete order set.

Patient-specific notes are not copied into reusable order sets.

The platform also records when an order set was applied to a patient and which orders were created from it.

External order fulfillment is still not live. These tools extend order preparation and management inside Serelora but do not transmit orders to a pharmacy or laboratory.

image

Retry failed document extraction

Documents that fail during clinical extraction now include a Retry action directly in the document interface.

Extraction capacity has also been increased for longer documents, reducing cases where large records are cut off during processing.

image

Safer note signing

Note signing is now completed as a single protected operation: the signature, signed status, and signing record succeed together.

This prevents a failure partway through signing from leaving a note in an inconsistent partially signed state.

Patients can dictate answers during onboarding

Patients can now use voice dictation in portal chat and in free-text responses during conversational onboarding.

Patients can speak their response, review the transcription, edit it if needed, and then submit it. Moving between assessment questions or ending a recording preserves text that has already been dictated.

Free-text response options are also more clearly presented, making it easier for patients to understand when they can answer in their own words rather than selecting only structured choices.

image

Additional billing safeguards

Several checks have been added to reduce duplicate or stale billing actions:

  • Retrying the same approved charge no longer creates a duplicate charge.
  • A charge proposal is refused if its price changed after you reviewed it.
  • Invoice generation is refused if the selected charges changed after review.
  • A payment-link proposal is refused if the intended recipient changed before approval.

These protections are especially relevant when approving billing actions from assistant workflows or retrying a request after a network or service interruption.

Other improvements

  • Image expansion now preserves your position on the page when you close the image.
  • Document-search excerpts have been visually simplified so matching content is easier to scan.
  • Assistant action proposals now require their preparation record to be successfully captured before they are presented for approval.
  • Reliability checks have been improved so temporary dependency problems can remove an unhealthy instance from traffic without unnecessarily restarting it.

v1.9.1 ·

Email sending restored

Fixed a bug that prevented outgoing emails from being sent from Serelora.

v1.9.0 introduced an issue that prevented Serelora from sending emails. This patch fixes the bug, and outgoing email is working again.

v1.9.0 ·

Chart reconciliation, better notes, and hardened security

Review and reconcile chart findings within Serelora, manage notes awaiting signature or co-signature, and manage custom roles so staff can have tailored workflows. This release also expands scheduling, billing, patient mobile access, and multi-clinic workflows.

Note on feature availability: Some capabilities require enablement for your clinic and the appropriate staff permissions.

Review more of the chart at once

Patient chart tables now use a more compact grid, reducing spacing so more clinical information is visible without scrolling. Detail tabs are also color-coded by the category of information they contain.

The Labs tab now displays results in columns organized by time and grouped by panel, making measurements from different dates easier to review side by side.

image

The Diagnostics area also gains dedicated views for Imaging, Genetics, and Microbiology. These organize imaging reports and study details, genetic findings, and cultures, organisms, and susceptibility panels when that information is available.

Clinics can also configure an external imaging archive connection using DICOMweb when that capability is enabled. An in-app diagnostic image viewer is not included in this release.

Reconcile chart findings in Manage Claims

The new Manage Claims tab brings together tools for reviewing chart findings, identifying duplicates, and managing terminology codes. In this context, “claims” means clinical information in the chart—not insurance claims.

Duplicate detection now uses shared terminology codes to better identify repeated entries. Proposed merges of existing findings go through clinician review, and superseded entries are retained rather than deleted.

image

Bulk coding jobs show progress and can be canceled. Clinic-wide duplicate review has its own additional permission, separate from managing findings within an individual patient’s chart.

You can also correct a finding’s category or onset date. Category changes include warnings when they could affect associated details or code mappings.

Record verification separately from clinical status

Chart findings now have a distinct verification status, with actions to Confirm, Refute, or Mark entered in error.

This is separate from clinical status: whether a condition is active or resolved is different from whether the recorded finding has been confirmed or refuted. Missing verification information is also not automatically treated as an explicit Unconfirmed status.

Individual supporting entries can be retracted while preserving their history, and retractions can be undone.

The assistant now reads verification information when working with the chart. Multiple assistant-proposed clinical-status changes can also be presented together for review and group approval, rather than requiring a separate interaction for each change.

image

Distinguish chart updates from a documented review

Chart section headers now show both Last updated and Last Reviewed.

Last updated reflects activity affecting the section’s clinical information. Last Reviewed records a provider’s explicit attestation that they reviewed the section.

image

A documented review is separate from confirming individual findings. It remains a record of when that review occurred—not an assertion that nothing has changed since.

Block calendar time and schedule multiple providers

The calendar now supports one-time and recurring blocked-off time. You can also assign one or more providers when creating or editing an appointment.

image

Overnight appointments display across the calendar days they occupy. A tabbed calendar settings dialog brings settings, including appointment types, together, and the calendar includes a new day-header view toggle.

Patient check-in is also available from the chart’s More Actions menu. The platform now enforces one open encounter per patient within each clinic, and encounter actions follow dedicated staff permissions. The assistant can read encounter status when helping with visit workflows.

Work through unsigned notes and co-signature requests

A new Sign Notes worklist under Clinical brings draft notes together across patients. It also includes a clinic co-signature queue, and the sidebar tooltip shows the unsigned-note count.

image

For physician assistants and medical assistants using the review workflow, Submit for Review sends a draft to the co-signature queue. An authorized reviewer can Co-sign or Return to Drafter.

The signed document identifies who prepared the note and who electronically signed it, keeping those contributions distinct.

Web scribe recording now also requires the AI transcription acknowledgment before audio recording starts, and recording-exit safeguards have been strengthened in the provider app.

Download consistently formatted PDFs

Exported PDFs now share a standardized layout, with consistent typography, a centered Serelora header on each page, a boxed patient-information panel, role-labeled authorship, and labeled update times.

image

The export action is now Download PDF, replacing the browser-print workflow.

Review extracted findings on the original scan

Extracted text can now be highlighted directly over the original scanned PDF or image, helping you locate a finding in its source document.

When a finding cannot be matched to a position on the page, that limitation is disclosed rather than silently hiding the unmatched text.

Document extraction is now configurable per clinic, with separate settings for uploaded documents and signed clinical content. Automatic terminology coding has its own setting, so extraction and coding do not have to be enabled together.

Manage billing adjustments, refunds, and invoice due dates

Billing now supports recording adjustments, write-offs, and refunds. Reversing an adjustment preserves the original entry rather than deleting its history.

New invoices receive due dates based on the clinic’s payment terms. Existing invoices are not automatically assigned new due dates.

The former Procedures navigation item is now Billing Settings, where you can access both the procedure catalog and billing configuration.

The assistant can also help with billing directly in chat. It can retrieve a billing summary, search the procedure catalog, and propose actions to add charges, generate an invoice, record a manual payment, or send a payment link. Changes require your approval and the appropriate billing permissions.

image

image

image

Switch clinics and tailor staff access

Staff with access to multiple clinics now have a searchable clinic switcher in the sidebar. Switching clinics reloads the workspace using the selected clinic’s context and permissions.

image

Clinics can use custom staff roles and individual permission overrides.

image

Role management is now part of the clinic staff table, which also shows each staff member’s last sign-in.

Clinic Information has been renamed Manage Clinic, and authorized clinic administrators can edit clinic information there.

Optional capabilities are now configured separately for each clinic. Enabling a feature does not grant permission to use it—staff still need the corresponding access rights.

New documentation, status, and release resources

A new public documentation site and customer changelog provide places to find product guidance and release information. The changelog also includes an Atom feed for subscribing to updates.

The public status page reports status by product capability, with incident updates and a history of recorded checks.

Images in documentation, changelog entries, and blog posts can now be expanded for a closer view.

Improvements to everyday workflows

  • Find patients by phone or email: Patient-list search now supports phone numbers and email addresses, including the last four digits of a phone number.
  • Keep your place: Chart filters are retained separately for each tab, returning from the record editor leads back to the chart, and patient-list scroll restoration has been improved.
  • Vitals: Temperature fields now default to Fahrenheit, and manually entered vitals no longer appear in the problem list.
  • Loading and navigation: Patient-list, chat-history, and mobile-roster loading have been streamlined. Menus are more accessible by touch and keyboard focus, and chat input sizing adapts when the workspace width changes.
  • Clearer scheduling errors: Appointment creation, editing, and drag-and-drop now show readable error messages rather than raw technical output.

This release also strengthens protections around account access, clinic-specific data access, sensitive-data handling, and the integrity of audit history.

v1.8.1 ·

Clinical status updates by agent and provider signup without an NPI

The agent can propose clinical status changes for review, providers can now complete signup without an NPI, and clinic administrators can approve eligible registrants.

Ask the agent to propose clinical status changes

The assistant can now propose updates to clinical status through chat, such as marking a condition as resolved or a medication as inactive.

A review dialog shows the existing status alongside the proposed change. It also includes a Prepared timestamp: the existing-status display reflects when the proposal was prepared, so check that timestamp when reopening an older proposal from chat history.

Changes are saved only after your approval, and your account must have permission to edit the chart.

image

Complete provider signup without an NPI

Providers can now choose “I don’t have an NPI” during signup and register using their legal first and last name. A clinic access code is still required, and approval is needed before signing in.

When an NPI is provided, it is checked against the CMS registry. The confirmation screen now includes “That’s not me — use a different number” so you can correct an entry that returns someone else’s details.

Going back to an earlier signup step also preserves information entered during the current signup session, including email and NPI details.

Screenshot From 2026-09-11 14-04-30

Review eligible registrations within your clinic

Clinic administrators with staff-management permission can now approve or reject eligible pending registrations for their own clinic, with an NPI registry check used to corroborate the registrant’s identity.

Providers who register without an NPI still require approval by Serelora.

Access Management now includes approval and rejection controls, with pending providers listed first and the presence or absence of an NPI clearly shown to the reviewer.

Add an NPI to an existing account

Providers whose account does not have an NPI can now add one through account settings. The number is checked against CMS, and the registry’s first and last name must match the account holder’s name.

There are two important changes to profile editing: an existing NPI cannot be changed or removed through self-service settings, and legal names are no longer editable in account settings. Changes to an existing NPI require a Serelora administrator.

Screenshot From 2026-09-11 14-05-52

More accurate results and clearer messages

  • Status-aware chart searches: Date-filtered assistant searches now retain provider-set clinical statuses rather than falling back to older or presumed values.
  • Negative clinical history: The assistant no longer reads “no known drug allergies” as an active allergy. Searches for inactive findings also no longer include negated procedure history, such as “no history of appendectomy.”
  • NPI verification messages: When the registry cannot confirm an NPI, the message now describes that limitation rather than labeling the identifier invalid or nonexistent.
  • Service availability: Fixed the issue that caused a production service outage.

v1.8.0 ·

Redesigned patient charts, clinic-specific roles, and document search

Review a reorganized chart summary, search within document text, and manage clinic-specific staff permissions, with clearer document-processing statuses and consent alerts.

Find clinical information in a reorganized chart

The patient chart now has fewer tabs and a more compact Summary, bringing related information together.

Allergies and Immunizations are now in Summary. History & Problems brings current problems and medical history together, while Diagnostics contains the Labs and Imaging views.

The Summary focuses on clinically active medications and problems, with presumed-active entries clearly marked. Vitals show when each latest measurement was recorded, rather than implying that all readings were taken together. The Medications tab also lists active medications before inactive entries.

image

Open patient actions from the chart header

The new Actions menu replaces the standalone Upload button and groups patient-specific actions in one place.

Billing, Insurance, and HIE Pull now open as separate workspace tabs rather than occupying the chart’s tab strip. Document upload is also available through Actions. New Note and AI Scribe remain directly accessible in the chart header.

image

Work with clinic-specific staff permissions

Access is now assigned through staff roles within each clinic, with separate permissions for viewing information and making changes. Clinic administrators can assign staff roles, and a person’s permissions can differ between clinics.

Controls for actions you cannot perform are hidden, while information you are authorized to view remains visible. The same permissions apply to actions requested through the clinical assistant.

The Medical Assistant role can update chart information but cannot sign notes. Authorized clinic staff can also access their clinic’s audit trail and consent-management screens.

image

Search document contents directly from the Documents tab

Documents search now looks inside document text, not just filenames and metadata.

Results highlight matching fields and show text excerpts that link directly to the corresponding passage. Search notices disclose coverage limits and indicate when a document contains more matches than are displayed.

image

See when document processing is incomplete

The document viewer now shows when extraction is still in progress and refreshes as processing finishes, instead of incorrectly reporting that the document has no extractable text.

When text recognition reads some pages but fails on others, the document is flagged as a partial read, rather than presented as complete. Blank pages alone do not trigger this warning.

Stalled uploads no longer remain in an uploading state indefinitely. Re-uploading an identical file to the same patient record also no longer starts duplicate extraction.

More reliable imports and source-linked findings

Patient-name checks now also cover FHIR and C-CDA uploads. The Extract anyway option can allow findings to be imported, but does not bypass safeguards on changes to patient identity details.

Family-history imports better preserve the relationship between relatives and their conditions. C-CDA imports retain the relative alongside the condition, and FHIR imports include all recorded family-history conditions rather than only the first.

Deleting a document now retires findings that no longer have a supporting source, preventing them from remaining in the assistant’s context as unsupported information. Findings supported by other documents are retained.

Fixes for everyday workflows

  • Return to where you started: Leaving a patient chart returns you to the patient list or calendar view that opened it, including the patient list’s search and scroll position.
  • Send intake invitations to imported patients: Send eIntake Link now works for patients created through roster or record imports who have not yet registered.
  • Clearer consent alerts: When consent status cannot be retrieved, the chart reports that it is unavailable rather than implying there are no consent concerns.
  • Current signed-note content: Reopening a note now refreshes its contents so a recently signed addendum is not hidden by an older cached version.
  • More accurate mobile sign-out messages: Provider mobile sign-out now revokes sessions on the server. When that revocation cannot be confirmed, the app explicitly reports “Signed out on this device.”

v1.7.0 ·

Clearer patient charts, note dictation, and appointment reminders

Review clinical status, surgical history, and lab panels in a more organized chart. Dictate directly into notes, draft addenda with the assistant, and keep patients informed with appointment texts and emails.

Review and update clinical status

Conditions and medications now display clinical status, rather than the generic “Asserted” label previously shown. You can update a status directly from its label in the chart, and conflicts between provider-set statuses and later imported information are flagged for review.

Both tabs now include a Last Confirmed field. You can also add a condition or medication manually.

Chart sections now support collapsible groups, sorting, and Clinically relevant and Include non-asserted filters.

image

Dictate notes and draft addenda with the assistant

You can now dictate directly into the note editor, with text inserted at your cursor.

The assistant can also draft an addendum to a signed note. The original signed content remains unchanged, and you still review and sign the addendum yourself—the assistant cannot sign it for you.

Tables generated by the assistant are preserved in the editor, signed note, and exported PDF. Accepted AI edits are also saved to the draft, addressing a problem where changes could be lost when switching workspace tabs.

image

Update patient details and search more precisely through chat

The assistant can now propose updates to patient demographics, insurance, and guarantor information for your review and approval.

image

It can also refer back to earlier actions and their outcomes within the same conversation, including whether a proposed change was completed or canceled.

Chart searches now support required keywords, excluded terms, and date filters. The assistant can use images attached to chat when responding, and you can star important conversations in your chat history.

Keep patients informed by text and email

For clinics with appointment notifications enabled, patients can receive SMS and email notices when appointments are booked, reinstated, rescheduled, or canceled. Reminders are scheduled for seven, two, and one day before the appointment.

Patients can manage email and text preferences separately. Appointment messages and registration/intake invitations have separate settings, so turning off appointment reminders does not also turn off intake invitations.

image

The calendar also identifies visit types with both colors and symbols, making appointment types distinguishable without relying on color alone.

image

Review balances and collect payments at check-in

Check-in now includes the patient’s balance and payment collection. Patients can also see their outstanding balance at the top of the portal’s Billing tab.

image

Manage patient rosters and provider profiles

The patient list now loads additional records as you scroll, while search covers the clinic’s full roster. Returning with the browser’s Back button restores the patient-list state.

Clinics can import patients from an Office Ally roster export, review the import preview, and confirm before proceeding. Provider profiles can also be edited, deactivated, and reactivated.

image

Updated record imports and document extraction

C-CDA clinical-summary imports better preserve individual clinical entries, reducing cases where a diagnosis and its status labels appear as separate findings. FHIR imports now include medication statements that were previously omitted and can fill missing demographic fields.

AI-based extraction of chart findings from uploaded documents is now off by default. Document uploading, text recognition, and reading remain available.

Where extraction is enabled, documents must name the patient before findings are extracted, unless the uploader explicitly chooses Extract anyway.

Fixes for chart accuracy and everyday workflows

  • Intake and negative findings: Answers such as “no” to surgery or hospitalization questions no longer create affirmative history entries. Negative findings, such as “no known drug allergies,” are distinguished from positive findings.
  • Scheduling: Busy calendars no longer hide appointments beyond the previous display limit. Fixes prevent duplicate bookings from repeated submission of the same proposal, and an end time before the start time is no longer silently treated as a next-day appointment. Returning from appointment details also restores the calendar’s focused date.
  • Patient record editing: Unsuccessful saves preserve entered information, and unsaved-change protection now covers browser Back. A fix also prevents the editor from silently clearing a stored phone number.
  • Clearer errors and processing states: A failed patient-list load is no longer shown as “No patients found.” Unavailable charts provide an explanation, interrupted chat responses are identified after reload, and scans with no recognized text remain marked as uploaded rather than failed.
  • Provider mobile app: Home notifications have been updated, including a fix for the incorrect “1 visit didn’t finish saving” alert after a successfully saved scribe session.

A dedicated Help & Support site has also been added.

v1.6.0 ·

Image uploads, expanded document search, and scheduling fixes

Upload images to patient records, find documents by keyword and date, and see clearer processing statuses, with additional updates to scheduling and patient demographics.

Upload images directly to patient records

The document upload window now accepts image files. Text recognition has also been updated for scanned documents and for onboarding images, including insurance cards, medication labels, and the back of an ID.

Find documents by keyword and date

The clinical agent can now search across document contents for keywords and filter results by date. This extends the search options introduced in the previous release, which focused on finding text within an individual note or document.

For example, ask: “Find documents mentioning echocardiogram from the past 3 years.”

image

See clearer upload statuses

Documents waiting for information extraction now appear as processing, rather than being incorrectly reported as failed uploads.

Duplicate uploads are also identified as duplicates instead of being reported as unexpected errors.

Keep scheduling aligned with clinic settings

Further scheduling fixes keep both the calendar and appointment-editing page aligned with the clinic’s timezone.

Patient self-booking now requires working hours to be configured. Make sure working hours are set before directing patients to book online.

Updates to patient records, portal access, and chat

  • Expanded demographics: Patient records now support additional demographic fields.
  • Patient portal records: Patients can now find all categories of recorded clinical information in the portal.
  • Clinic access confirmation: The patient portal now asks for confirmation before a patient revokes clinic access.
  • Recent conversations first: Sidebar chat history is now ordered by the latest message in each conversation, keeping recently active chats at the top.

v1.5.0 ·

External EHR integration, patient billing, and pre-visit check-in

Connect with compatible external EHRs, give patients access to billing information and invoice PDFs, and collect appointment-specific consents during pre-visit check-in.

Connect with compatible external EHRs

Serelora now supports SMART on FHIR launches with compatible external EHRs. This provides a new way to use Serelora through an external EHR integration, once the connection has been configured for your clinic.

image

Give patients access to cash-pay billing

Patients now have a dedicated Billing tab in the portal. The cash-pay billing workflow also includes generated invoice PDFs, extending the clinic-side billing features introduced in the previous release.

image

Complete check-in and appointment consents before the visit

Patients can now complete pre-visit check-in and sign consent forms for each appointment. The reason they provide at check-in carries into the encounter’s stated complaint, keeping that information available in the visit record.

New patients also have a simpler initial signup, with demographic details collected during onboarding rather than registration.

image

Manage patient records and clinic staff

Patient information can now be edited on a dedicated full-page screen. Accidentally created patient records can be removed from the patient list, and clinic staff can be added directly through the Add Staff dialog.

Patient selectors now make records easier to distinguish. Medical record numbers must be unique within each clinic, and patient dates of birth and phone numbers are validated when entered.

image

Find information within notes and documents

The clinical assistant can now search for specific terms within an individual document or note, focusing on matching passages rather than reviewing the entire text.

Document and note workflows have also been refined:

  • Recently edited documents now appear at the top of the Documents tab.
  • Signed notes have an Export action directly in the toolbar.
  • Accepted AI edits display as formatted rich text rather than literal Markdown.
  • Unavailable files produce clearer errors during export or consent-form viewing and printing.

Clearer appointment details and scheduling

Appointment times now consistently use the clinic’s timezone, and patient rescheduling options include timezone labels.

The calendar has more compact appointment cards, with status visible even on 30-minute appointments. A dedicated appointment-editing page provides more room to review and update details. An appointment can only receive checked-in status through the check-in action.

In the patient portal, canceled appointments no longer appear under Upcoming. Patient self-booking also enforces limits on appointment duration and how far in advance a visit can be booked.

Keep your workspace in place

Showing or hiding chat no longer reloads the workspace pane, and unsaved-note warnings now apply in more places.

The sidebar’s patient card follows the page you are viewing rather than a previously selected patient. The Scribe Templates manager is also now scoped to the active provider’s templates.

v1.4.0 ·

Cash-pay billing, signed-note addenda, and clinic consent forms

Manage cash-pay visits from check-in through invoicing, append signed addenda without changing the original note, and share your clinic’s consent forms with patients.

Manage cash-pay visits from check-in to invoicing

The platform now supports cash-pay billing, bringing visit check-in, charge capture, checkout, invoicing, and manual payment recording into one workflow.

Check in a scheduled patient from their calendar appointment, or start a walk-in visit from the patient chart’s Billing tab. Visit details—including the stated complaint, visit intent, and triage notes—are now kept with the individual encounter rather than the patient’s overall profile.

In the Billing tab, you can add services from your catalog, adjust quantities, review running totals, and complete the visit at checkout. Price overrides require a reason, and charges can be edited or removed until they are invoiced.

Under Administrative → Procedures, you can maintain your clinic’s service-and-price catalog or import it from a CSV file. An import preview identifies warnings and blocking errors before you save.

Invoices use clinic-specific numbering, and payments can be recorded manually. Clinics can also complete Stripe Connect onboarding. Insurance claims submission is not included in this release.

Screenshot From 2026-09-11 13-11-14

Add signed updates without changing the original note

You can now append a signed addendum to a signed note created in the platform. The original signed content stays locked, with only the new addendum available for editing.

Each addendum includes its own signer and signing time. Updated PDFs include the addendum, while previous PDF versions are retained.

Imported documents remain read-only and do not support addenda.

image

The clinical assistant can now retrieve StatPearls articles from NCBI Bookshelf to support answers to clinical questions. Linked citations let you open the referenced article and review the source. The assistant also suggests follow-up questions to help continue the conversation.

Source links within patient records have been improved, too. Records imported in FHIR format now produce PDFs organized into clinical sections, with chart findings linked to the specific source entry. Intake answers are also carried into the chart more reliably, addressing missing responses and incorrect source references.

image

Clinics can now upload their own consent PDFs and control the order patients see them. Each patient’s consent decision is tied to the specific version of the form they reviewed.

Patients who have completed onboarding can also view their standing consent decisions in the portal.

image

A transcription disclosure before mobile recording

The provider app now requires an AI transcription acknowledgment before recording is enabled. The disclosure names AWS HealthScribe as the recipient of the audio and asks you to confirm patient permission.

Recording does not begin unless the acknowledgment has been accepted and saved. The provider app is iPhone-only in this release.

Smoother patient onboarding

Patients can now enter insurance information manually and return to insurance upload after selecting self-pay. Patients linked only to cash-pay clinics skip the insurance step.

Identity-verification processing status is retained when patients navigate away or reload. Selecting Book in Chat now sends the appointment-booking request automatically.

Improvements to everyday workflows

  • Scheduling: Appointments can be dragged between days, and a moved appointment stays in its proposed position while you confirm the change. Calendar popovers stay on screen, and the schedule adapts better to narrow windows.
  • Chart navigation and patient details: Chart sections load individually as you open them. The clinical timeline now has a fullscreen toggle in place of scroll-wheel zoom, document search is restored in the Documents tab, and patient creation includes phone and email fields.
  • Document uploads: Rejected files are identified in the upload area. Failures during document import and information extraction are reported separately, with a retry option. Patient portal records refresh when extraction finishes.
  • Notes and PDFs: AI-assisted note edits have improved text matching and change review. Generated PDFs now render ampersands and previously unsupported symbols correctly.
  • Access and error messages: Provider approval is enforced before sign-in. Unexpected errors display plain-language messages with a short reference for support, rather than internal technical details.

v1.3.0 ·

Mobile scribe, transcript review, and appointment scheduling

Record visits in the new provider mobile app and review draft notes alongside their transcripts. Manage appointments in a day or week calendar, with patient self-booking through portal chat.

Turn mobile recordings into draft clinical notes

The new provider mobile app lets you select a patient and record a visit. Once the recording has been processed, a draft clinical note appears in the platform for review and editing.

Persistent notifications in the platform let you know when background transcription jobs are complete, so you can continue working while a recording is processed.

Review scribe notes alongside the transcript

A new side-by-side transcript view lets you review a generated note alongside the encounter transcript and trace note content back to the source text.

Manage appointments in the calendar or main chat

The new provider calendar gives you Day and Week views of your appointments. Scheduling actions are also available through the main chat.

Changing an appointment’s start time now preserves its duration, and the cancellation dialog includes a field for the cancellation reason. Switching from Week to Day view keeps you within the week you were viewing.

Let patients book and manage appointments through the portal

Patients can now book, reschedule, and cancel appointments through the AI advocate in portal chat. A new Appointments tab gives them a place to view their appointments.

Booking availability follows the clinic’s timezone and provider working hours. Patients who do not have a linked clinic receive guidance when they try to schedule.

Dictate chat messages and find patients as you type

Chat now supports live dictation, so you can speak a message instead of typing it. You can also choose an AI model for each message rather than using a single account-wide selection.

The updated patient selector shows matching results as you type, includes avatars, and provides an option to create a patient directly from the selector.

Refreshed navigation and everyday fixes

The interface has a refreshed teal-and-cream design, with color-coded icons in the sidebar, patient chart, and workspace tabs.

Several workflow fixes are also included:

  • Consistent sign-in across tabs: Signing in, signing out, or switching users now updates all open browser tabs.
  • Documents in separate patient records: Identical files uploaded for different patients are handled separately in each patient’s record.
  • More reliable chat connections: Fixes help prevent interruptions while waiting for longer-running assistant responses.
  • Note formatting: Typing a single asterisk no longer causes subsequent text to become italicized.

Patient signup forms have also received fixes, and patient portal dialogs now include additional accessibility descriptions.

v1.2.0 ·

Clinical timelines, more chart options, and a refreshed patient portal

Review patient history in a source-linked timeline, view more chart types directly in chat, and use new transcription and patient portal features in a redesigned interface.

Explore patient history in a clinical timeline

The clinical assistant can now display a patient’s history in a timeline organized into separate lanes. Events link to their source documents, so you can move from the timeline overview to the underlying record.

View more chart types directly in chat

Charts can now appear within the assistant conversation as well as in the workspace. Alongside existing trend charts, the assistant can generate scatter plots, distribution charts, and dual-axis line charts.

These views let you explore relationships between numeric measurements, see how values are distributed, or display trends with separate vertical scales.

Chart layouts have also been refined: scatter plot axes fit the data range, legends sit outside the plotting area, and dual-axis labels are positioned correctly. Fixes also prevent duplicate chart generation for the same request.

Use AWS HealthScribe for recorded encounters

Scribe now supports AWS HealthScribe as an additional transcription option for processing completed recordings.

An updated patient portal with an AI advocate

The patient portal now includes a patient-facing AI advocate. The portal has also been visually redesigned, and the welcome step during patient signup has been simplified.

Fixes for everyday workflows

  • Draft documents: Deleting a draft with pending edits no longer causes a crash.
  • Document uploads: Failed uploads now display an error message, making it clear when an upload has not completed.
  • Patient details: The patient edit form now requires both a first and last name; blank or whitespace-only entries are not accepted.
  • Note links: EvidenceMD links in the note editor are now recognized correctly, with duplicate links removed.

This release also adds security protections across public-facing applications.

v1.1.0 ·

New scribe options, workspace notes, and interactive trend charts

New scribe options for clinical note generation, edit generated drafts directly in the workspace, and view lab and vital-sign trends as interactive charts.

Choose your scribe provider

EvidenceMD is now available alongside OpenScribe for generating clinical notes. Use the new Scribe Provider dropdown in the scribe view to choose your provider. Your selection is remembered across sessions.

Heidi Health, DeepScribe, Abridge, and Commure are also available as higher-tier options.

Open and edit scribe notes in the workspace

Scribe-generated notes now open directly in a workspace note tab, rather than on a separate fullscreen page. This brings them into the same editing experience as your other notes.

Generated notes are saved as drafts and remain available when you navigate away or reload the page. They also display with rich-text formatting in the note editor.

The clinical assistant can now display numeric results across visits as interactive charts, rather than only describing trends in text. Each chart opens in its own workspace tab.

For example, ask: “Plot this patient’s blood pressure readings over time.”

Charts show individual measurements connected in chronological order, with labeled axes and a legend. Distinct colors help you distinguish multiple data series when they appear together.

Cleaner assistant replies

Assistant replies now keep reasoning in the separate reasoning panel instead of including it in the main message, making the conversation easier to follow.
